Miniaturization is becoming increasingly important in medical technology and to meet this demand, ElringKlinger has developed the capability to machine or injection mold micro components with diameters less than 0.5mm and wall thicknesses of a few hundredths of a millimetre. We meet special customer requirements with innovative solutions in a range of high-performance, medically qualified plastics and compounds such as PTFE, PEEK, PFA or FEP.
Our products are currently used in electronic and mechanical sub-systems of electro-medical devices such as catheter pump friction bearings for cardiology and sealing elements used in liquid and gas chromatography analytical equipment. Other applications include short-term implants for head and neck surgery such as tympanostomy tubes used in the field of ENT.
Our manufacturing and quality processes comply with IATF 16949, ISO 13485 and "Good Manufacturing Practice" standards.
