On Friday, July 24, 2026, ElringKlinger Engineered Plastics celebrated its 60th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, employees from the German locations, employees celebrating milestone anniversaries, former employees, and representatives of the company and group management came together to look back on six decades of company history and, at the same time, look toward the future.
By expanding its Heidenheim location, ElringKlinger Engineered Plastics is laying the groundwork for further growth and strengthening the plant’s long-term viability.
ElringKlinger Engineered Plastics is consistently implementing the “Local for Local” principle and establishing its expanded facility in Qingdao as a regional hub for plastics technology operations in Asia. Through targeted investments in high-growth markets, production capacity for high-performance plastics solutions is being quadrupled. At the same time, the plant—designed as a low-carbon facility—sets new standards in efficiency and sustainability and stands for energy-efficient, future-oriented production.
