Plain bearings
When consistency matters.
Plain bearings are indispensable components in many industrial applications. Our plain bearings made from MoldflonTM and PolytetraflonTM materials or highly wear-resistant compounds are the ideal solution for applications with high p•v-values and thermal loads. They guarantee reliable function - even with insufficient lubrication or dry running. Maintenance-free plain bearings are the ideal choice when aggressive media are involved. They can also be used without hesitation in contact with food or pharmaceutical products.
Advantages
- High chemical resistance
- High thermal resistance: -100 °C to +250 °C
- Corrosion-free
- Suitable for high peripheral speeds in dry running
- Suitable for high p-v values in dry running
- FDA-compliant materials for life science applications
- Low weight

Types
MoldflonTM plain bearing

The MoldflonTM plain bearing is ideal for the highest tribological applications, as it achieves p·v-values of up to 2.5 N/mm²-m/s. It is characterized by the lowest coefficient of friction and meets strict standards such as FDA, USP Class VI, BAM and 3A conformity.
M-Liner plain bearing

The M-Liner plain bearing is a slotted, rolled bushing. It is made of zinc-plated sheet steel laminated with a PTFE sliding layer. It is designed for demanding applications where dry running speeds of up to 5 m/s are achieved. The thin PTFE running layer ensures optimum heat dissipation, guaranteeing reliable performance even under extreme conditions.
Plain bearing made from PolytetraflonTM- PTFE

The plain bearing made of PolytetraflonTM-PTFE is ideal for applications where conventional lubricants such as oils and greases are not suitable. Due to the exceptional properties of PTFE, these plain bearings are ideal for the design of maintenance-free dry plain bearings. They also offer high wear resistance and high chemical resistance over a wide service temperature range.
