Spring energized seals

Type C

Type C is characterized by a helically wound metal strip spring that offers high spring forces with low spring travel. This design is ideal for static seals as well as slow movements and high pressures.

Thanks to the high preload forces, it ensures excellent tightness with both liquid and gaseous media. This type of spring shows its strengths particularly at low temperatures.
