Our sustainable projects are designed to take ecological, social and economic aspects into account and thus make a holistic contribution to environmental protection and social responsibility.
Support for the food bank in Bietigheim-Bissingen
Easter Campaign on April 7, 2026
Supporting the Bietigheim Food Bank is very important to us. For Easter, the trainees at ElringKlinger Kunststofftechnik delivered chocolate Easter bunnies to the food bank in Bietigheim-Bissingen, bringing a little joy to people in need.
Active Support on January 24, 2025
For two weeks, the trainees at ElringKlinger Kunststofftechnik helped out at the food bank in Bietigheim-Bissingen. With great dedication, they supported the food bank staff in preparing the goods, displaying them in the sales area, and distributing them to customers. The food bank staff expressed their gratitude for the trainees’ dedication and hard work: “The most valuable gift we can give people is time. That is what the trainees gave us.”
Social Project by our Trainees at a Nursing Home
As part of their annual community service project, ten trainees from ElringKlinger Engineered Plastics spent a day on November 28, 2025, at the “Pro Seniore” nursing home in Bietigheim-Bissingen. The goal was to provide the residents with a varied and interactive day. Classic games as bingo, as well as creative games developed by the trainees themselves, provided entertainment. Afternoon walks rounded out the program.
Crown cap collection campaign for children with cancer
In 2024, a seven-month crown cap collection campaign was carried out in collaboration with ElringKlinger AG. Over a ton of crown corks were collected, which corresponds to around 530,000 pieces. This campaign not only demonstrated social commitment and environmental protection, but the equivalent value of the tin was donated to the Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder in Tübingen e.V. and the crown caps were collected for reuse.
Educational partnership
On December 16, 2024, ElringKlinger Engineered Plastics GmbH and Lichtenstern-Gymnasium in Sachsenheim entered into an educational partnership. This collaboration enables us to provide students with practical insights into the world of plastics technology and promote their professional orientation.
Clean-Up Day
On April 12, 2024, seventh-grade students from Bissingen secondary school held a Clean-Up Day together with our trainees. They collected garbage, documented the type and quantity of waste and then analyzed the data in class. This campaign is part of the educational partnership, which also includes internships, company tours and support with career guidance.
