Thanks to its high reflectivity over a broad wavelength range, the diffuse reflecting PTFE material Zenith Polymer® is the ideal material for optical components—in sensors, satellites, and autonomous driving systems, for example.
One of the primary characteristics of this material is its high mechanical strength, which allows self-supporting solutions while also retaining the outstanding properties of PTFE:
- Temperature-resistant from −200°C to +260°C
- Antiadhesive, electrically and thermally insulating
- Largely resistant to UV radiation

Lambertian reflectors and diffusers
These are used, for example, as reflectance standards or targets, a base material for integrating spheres, projection screens, or detection sensors, optical attenuators, and field targets in the aerospace sector. Transmittance of between 2% and 50%. High reflectivity of more than 98% over a broad wavelength range of between 200 nm and 2,500 nm
